Today we are going to talk about a camera setting called depth of field. Depth of field controls the clarity of the background of your photo. You can adjust depth of field by changing your cameras aperture settings.
The lower the value of your aperture the more blurry your background will be.

Here is a photo with a shallow depth of field with pool balls on a pool table.
